When my husband and I were making plans to holiday in Vietnam many people commented on how brave (Or crazy) we were since Vietnam is a third world country and we would be travelling with our six month old baby daughter. We loved the friendly staff, enjoyed the hotel, praised the food, were thrilled by the tropical beauty, rejoiced in the peacefulness, has tons of fun and were absolutely pleased with the staffs quick response and excellent service. The Meliá Cayo Santa María is certainly worth visiting at least once. For our trip, the forecast was for around 21 to 27 Celsius. Sadly, Mother Nature didn’t listen to our weather man. After travel insurance the first beautifully sunny and hot day, we found ourselves immersed in cool weather with four out of our seven days quite cool and windy in the evenings. The weather didn’t stop us from having ourselves a great time anyway. I am a travelling enthusiast and I had planned to visit Las Vegas, Nevada over the spring break 2020 with my friends. We had booked the air tickets almost one and a half month before the departure date (pro-tip: Book hotel rooms, air-tickets, bus tickets etc. early and save money). We booked everything before Corona virus was declared a pandemic and at that time everything appeared to be smooth, safe and exciting.
To achieve your goal of family togetherness, you might consider something more outdoorsy. In an effort to steer you away from memories of kids campouts and insect bites, envision something a little more refined, but active. If you ask me, all vacations are pretty active and adventurous. The setting of your adventure can vary greatly from place to place. If you are looking to spend time with your family, but stay in one location to eliminate the headache of packing and repacking, you have two great options: go on a cruise or go to a resort catering to families. We gave up Petra too to stay in Eilat and relaxe, even if it was just for one day, it was definitely worth it. Try staying at the Prima Music Hotel, great place with a great view of the mountains and the Red Sea. Loved the food too! Wrote a hub about that too.
