Traveling is definitely easier these days and there is no doubt about that. It enriches and broadens our outlook towards other fellow human beings. We stayed on the major freeway. Traveling between the Florence region and Venice and back again gave us the opportunity to view the landscape. It changes so much. The rolling hills of Tuscany become almost mountainous and then drop down to the plains that lead to the Adriatic coast and Venice. These changes all happen in less than three hours of driving if you don’t get lost.
