People mostly travel for fun, but have you ever thought about traveling on your own? It was that time; departure. Our exciting vacation was just about over, and the high of being pampered in a foreign country was coming to a close. Great hub. I like the positive side to solo travel you portray. But you’re also because realistic. Thanks for sharing your experiences -many people will benefit from reading this hub. I have shared it with my network. Our family visited Crater Lake National Park in August, which is a good time of the year to get travel insurance to the National Park. Are you nervous about traveling by yourself for the first time? If you have never traveled by yourself before, and you’re a bit nervous about being on your own for the first time, then traveling as part of a tour group may be a good way to go. Traveling with a tour group provides better assurance (but no guarantee) that the hotels, restaurants and sites you’ll be visiting are reputable. Hotels and attractions don’t want to risk losing the repeat business that comes from satisfied tour groups. These are two beautiful waterfalls that you don’t want to miss. They do have a hefty entrance fee to preserve their natural setting at $45 for the both of them. However, it’s worth it. Don’t make the same mistake as me. Bring a bathing suit and a change of clothes because you can go and swim in the small twin waterfall there. It can be crowded during the early day time but if you go closer to the evening, you’ll have a chance to get the waterfalls all to yourself.
